Now GoM offers AutoChartist free on all accounts, this is pretty good, recently they added indices and oil, brought an ecn account, and now this. Things are looking up

So let me get this straight. Go now offers wider spread, (used to be .3pips for std account), have claimed ECN style access since 2009, and calls the account a "Pro Account" with higher deposit amount, and you think it's a better deal?

Now you have to pay $3000 for higher spreads and greater distance from market for pending orders?????????

Who sais gimmick advertising doesn't work.

What the heck spreads at .3pips are you talking about? I don't think anyone here has ever seen .3pip spreads on a stp fx broker let alone GoM. Straight Through Processing is ECN style with orders routed...straight through to LPs. Looking back at the start of this thread I doubt anyone here knew about GoM offering incidies and over 10 commodities back from 2009. Now they've begun to offer it again and have an actual ecn and these steps moving forward should be a good thing.

these feckers stopped my terminals via old version - reloaded and completely fucked it for me. thanks go.

if you are around 6am GMT go usually drops offline - a lot.

I believe all mt4 brokers have had to comply with this. I have got many emails from different brokers about metaquotes disabling all platforms older than build 416 as of today. You should have had plenty of warning. But I agree GO has gone to crap, i dont trade there anymore.

Ensure you have the most recent version of GO Trader MT4

MetaQuotes have informed us that starting from June 1st, 2012, MetaTrader 4 versions lower than build 416 will no longer be supported.

What does this mean for you?
You will need to ensure that you are using the most recent build of GO Trader MT4. If you are on a version below build 416 you will not be able to connect to our trade servers, meaning you will be unable to trade.

To check what build you are using, log in to GO Trader MT4, go to Help > About.
Here on the left you will see what version number you are using.

Autochartist on Go Markets is actually pretty good I agree. Really happy to get something extra from them. Thinking about moving my account to the ecn Pro account. Any feedback?

I had 4 live accts and close them all 6 months ago.
They can lure you in with all the gizmos and Bs but main thing isn’t fixed, execution time, 1 sec, Stopslevel 3 pips!!!
Execution time was 390-500ms stoplevel 0
Since they partnered with Japs is gone from bad to worst.
Go went from best broker to Bs broker.
Still waiting for any improvement.

Depozit Fee @ 3% to international clients using credit cards.

this is a disgusting change that is NOT announced to the international clients.

so if I depozit $10,000, I will be charged $300? what heck? my 1 week profit is gone this way!!!

Yeah, you guessed it, it was free before, and sillently changed to 3%. I can't believe it. What other cheap depozit options do they have for international clients? No......

I'm leaving this broker.

I think all the brokers charge an international credit card transaction fee, something about the banks conversion fees. GoM isn't the only one, Pepperstone, Axi, FxPro, Vantage, FXCMau, they all have credit card fees that you may incur depending on what currency you deposit in, it's the banks that are charging it for handling the international cc transaction. There's always paypal and direct wire which are cheaper.

Yep, bank and merchant fees. Why 'percentage' is used and not a fixed amount is just typical bank gouging and profiteering. Why it costs ten times as much to handle another zero on a transaction is just bank theft and one of many reasons they, (banks) claim billions extra in profit each quater here in Australia.

The only free deposit is interbank transfer within Australia.

I can transfer into my US brokers account faster and cheaper than I can here in Aust. International wire costs approx $70 fixed.

jeanluoie is correct, all brokers and merchants have to charge this. There are current reforms being put forward to try and have these fees reduced or abolished.

If you are a confident trader and prepared to hand over a reasonable amount to a broker you should get this back in 1 trade easily, at least that's how I accept it.

Hi Charvo,

The fee you are referring to is one charged by National Australia Bank (NAB) as a handling fee for processing your payment. It is not a fee imposed by GO Markets, we do not charge withdrawal or deposit fees.

Previously GO Markets covered this charge for you by rebating you back the fee which was charged by the Bank. Due to the high number of transactions we receive, this was becoming hard to manage and we also wanted to offer larger incentives for funding. As such, we introduced a 10% funding bonus which far outweighs the 3% credit card fee.

Furthermore, when you fund by credit card, the transaction fees by NAB are clearly displayed at the time of payment on the credit card funding form. Please note that you can also fund by international wire which is considerably cheaper than using a credit card.

Jeanlouie and Cogs are also correct as it will be difficult to find a broker that will cover handling fees charged by banks. Instead they will also provide other methods to compensate you for such charges. We do of course understand that bank fees are undesirable, and for this reason we are in the process of creating an international payment gateway which will remove the need for our international clients to use credit card funding via an Australian Bank. This should be available in the next 2 weeks and will lead to a greatly decreased cost of funding, and faster processing times. We will announce this to all clients when this becomes available.

+1. You must remember they are a business and they do incur costs. Credit card deposits pose a risk for broker (e.g. chargebacks). Be glad that the option is even available, especially from their own merchant account. as some brokers insist on only using processors (like alertpay or the [in]famous moneybookers (horrible customer service)).

I think IBFX does not charge deposit fee on credit card. only for withdrawals. Can't please everyone.
