Hi guys, not sure if this thread should go in the platform section but being a tech muppet it may well be suited here
I'm getting serious with my trading and I want to buy "one" separate desktop pc to run my MT4 charts. I'm planning to run about 3-4 of them on one PC on two monitors.
At the moment I'm running some MT4 instances side by side on my laptop together. I'm also sending emails, playing games, creating documents and images etc... from this laptop so you can see my laptop slows down therefore the charts sticks and lags in real time. Also not helping is probably the indicators which are loaded on each chart ... there's not a lot of different indicators but I have to have the same ones on a lot of each different timeframe for my analysis. And also I have my order entry platform on this thing too.
My laptop spec is not low end but still its seems to be groaning under all the weight lol.
WindowsWindows 7 Home Premium Edition (64-bit) Service Pack 1 (Build 7601) --- Memory (RAM)3957 MB --- CPU InfoIntel(R) Core(TM) i3 CPU M 350 @ 2.27GHz --- CPU Speed2260.6 MHz ---
Display AdaptersATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
I know zip about the mechanics of how MT4 works and frankly don't care, but any tech heads suggest what I should look out for when buying a desktop for my circumstance? Nothing too $$$ but something good and reliable and enough just to run multiple MT4 instances ... also include smooth multiple monitor operations.
TIA!
