Have you used Open ECry? I've read it let you see maximum volume of the day as you're trading and it has a plugin called footprint which allows you to see intraday volume (hours, minutes) but for this feature you need to have the program open, wont give you historical volume. However, it lets you cache the max volume from the begining of session.
Does Ninja trader work the same as far as saving volume?Ignored
DislikedOEC is not good for this pourpose.
NT is far better and has much more tools. For saving volume u need to be connect. But if u use IQfeed u can import historical bid ask data into NT.

Yes, Ninja is a nicer platform with more tools and custom indicators but it seems like both save volume in the same manner. I've checked iqfeed, it looks like it may be high quality volume data, quite pricy though. Is this how you save your volume data thru sierra charts?Ignored
DislikedHi there Lubo, find your thread very interesting, have been studying this method for the past mont. I.m more of a longer TF person but am trying to get a handle on orderflow, thought I might as well throw up a graph on divergence I spotted, would you have traded this?
