Guys, It is the late hours of sunday night and I start the week with mixed feelings about bitcoin.
On the daily chart price is still locked in a range "hammered' down by the arrowed candle.

Bulls will comfort themselves that price, even throughout the weekend stayed in the top 25% of the range threatening a breakout.
EW bulls can allude to the expected ABC up correction where A and B are supposedly done and the C is kicked off

Bears will retort and say price missed a trick last friday where the whole market was risk on by BTC could not breakout of 64.7k high.
It got within 20$ of that said number and retreated. Bears will smirk back at EW bulls to say where is the 3 wave retracement for the b wave so price can still come down to do it.

The 4h chart shows price bound between 64648 and 63604 and an explosive move out of this range in either direction is needed to clear things up.

The hourly chart shown the same info as the 4h but with more detail. How price is doing some discovery work towards the bottom of the range.
Weakness is setting in.

Was incommunicado because of work
See what has happened.
Price is all but at the bottom of the range.
Will be looking to buy strength off the lower range if I can

Hi guys, here is my overview for this week:

  1. Weekly: We're still stuck in this $65,700 – $57,500 Congestion Zone. Buyers defended the 65,700 well, but sellers breached it, and now it's resistance. Sellers still can't break $57.5k.
  2. Daily: Buyers defended the Monthly Open (~$58,500) and pushed the price above the Monthly Pivot ~$64,200, where bears are fighting hard.

Bull Plan & Targets
The line in the sand is $64,200 (ChoCh). If BTC claims and holds it, it opens the path to the Daily Swing High ($67.3k).

  1. T1: $64,200 (ChoCh reclaim)
  2. T2: $64,750 (June 18 High / Supply)
  3. T3: $65,700 (Weekly S/R)
  4. T4: $67,300 (Daily Swing High)

Bear Plan & Targets
If sellers force a Daily Close below $62,100 (June 18 Low), it ruins the recovery and points us back to $57.5k.

  1. T1: $61,300 (Left Shoulder retest)
  2. T2: $59,500 (Rejection Zone)
  3. T3: $58,500 (Monthly Open)
  4. T4: $57,500 (Weekly Support)

Momentum Check
Daily MACD is recovering but still below 0. The Red -DI is still on top, meaning bears technically have the HTF control, but they are losing steam.
For real buyer momentum to return, we need the MACD to cross above 0 and the Blue +DI to cross above the Red. Let's see how this week plays out!

Starting to feel bullish again because of today's performance.
Price is still in a range though and I most likely wait for a breakout and close above the range I have been bleating on about before getting long.
You know who is at it again with announcements etc. Today is risk on though. So we might get our breakout.
You will have noticed a reduction in my posts. I am no longer working remotely and very time pressured.
So much to do so little time. I will have to switch to bracket trades based on the daily charts.
EDIT:
BTW We have a breakout in ETH. If this settles as such at the end of day I will go long. Perhaps ETH is the dog and BTC is the tail

Everything is looking clean so far. Bulls managed to reclaim the Weekly Open (WO), and now I'm just waiting for clear acceptance above it.
Key Confluences:

  1. Volume: The reclamation came with solid volume expansion on both the 1H and 4H timeframes.
  2. Indicators: The 1H MACD and Signal lines are sitting comfortably above 0, while the 4H momentum is actively increasing.
  3. DMI: The +DI is holding above 25 on both charts, signaling that the bulls are officially picking up strong momentum.

I just opened a small position right here. Let’s see if the bulls can successfully defend this WO floor.

Breakout all around.
Price on the verve of closing above the well watched range 64.7k.
It is what Zappa says Bitcoin will want to cause as much pain as possible before showing its true colours.
Unless something happens this is a very bullish development

sorry I'm not around—I'm on vacation ,I didn't post the trade and don't read the tread. Once again, it respected the yellow line perfectly; it gave me a nice trade this time—very clean, A few successful trades since my losing streak—I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things.

The momentum is looking great, but since we are hitting short-term resistance, I’m locking this in. I'm going to step back and patiently wait for a proper discount/pullback before looking to position into another long.

Hi Toboso01,
After I posted my last post I tried a short scalp against the recent high. It was successful and even closed too early. I am now flat and I am also eyeing ETH because the chart looks cleaner. ETH hasn't retraced much
Price is now back in the channel and there is room for more downside.

BTC is currently in a pullback right now, back inside the channel. I'm staying flat and patiently waiting to see where this settles before looking for the next setup. Let's see how deep this discount goes!

I agree with you that some weakness has come into the price.
This is bitcoin messing with traders.
In the old days I would have churned my account changing my bias many times because of price being in this range
