It's not you, bro. It's just my experience on both my prop and personal accounts. It set me back multiple times with the gaps. So i decided to stick with trading during London and NY session. However, I check the Asian session too just to know where the movement is coming from.

please try and prevent buying in a bearish market it can trigger revenge trading if you lose more than you expected , you already sold and got a good profit so you either wait for sells again later or stay out because no single time frame has given a buy signal though price is at a support

it moved 700 pips so it's good to close so that I can sleep, current level is a major buy zone so it could reject price up, time to close and let do it again later because I have to sleep

It's always best to follow the trend. Market is like ocean wave, hence you see surfers riding same direction with the wave. Scalping the retracement (Buy) can be profitable if you have the scalping skills but it is quick risk bcos they might be a sudden change of direction. If you sold @ 4450 & TP @ 4400, that's 500 pips on gold. Very good return. You can chill till New York session to allow the retracement to happen in London session then go in again for another Sell ride to 4355.
