Nice job gaining some profits today, maybe you missed out on more, but being in the green on FOMC day is a win in itself. A lot of traders sit it out. Its a tough challenge

hi, I use the cvd as a reversal indicator in short time frames less than 1 hour, I am better at timing my inputs also I look for divergences even if it is more dedicated to scalping I would say but I do not yet completely master the tool even if I find that for the moment it helps me quite a bit in correlation with others.
oh no, there is a misunderstanding I don't work for anyone and no one teaches me anything I learn on my own, I use propfirms, that is to say the accounts where you have to prove yourself by making 10% of the capital in b-book and then you switch to real capital in a-book. The one I'm using at the moment is breakoutprop. Type it on the internet and you'll quickly find it.

The stock market (SP500) is retracing at the moment,
WTI crude is at its highs and Brent crude is even way higher.
There is no resolution to the 'strait' issue just yet.

it’s because earnings lol earnings post bell and stocks tied to S&P when they drop bc of bad earnings then the S&P drops……..

Agreed.
if earnings (and forward guidance) are bad then the stock will go bearish and the stock price will fall.
If the stock market is weak then bitcoin should be weak and the dollar index should be bullish.

in this case you have to look at it more closely it's quite interesting even if you have to be careful a lot of props are naturally there to take your money and others abuse the trading rules that they impose on you but this allows you to have access to capital when you don't have any or at least to risk your holding to a much lesser extent

It looks like the accounts are limited to 200k, is that so?

Probably not something for me to be honest, but an interesting concept nonetheless, and for a trader with no capital it could be a real opportunity

Heres a couple charts and my thoughts at the moment.
Chart 1 market trending higher very gingerly. Im not bothered by the blue TL, but it should stick close to it at least and at some point leave it to the upside if Im right about the long position That geen one its testing now I mentioned earlier. I didnt think market would get too far from it. Went farther than I thought it would, but still not that far before coming back to it

Chart 2 I didnt think that purple line needed to be tagged again, but apparently it did. I thought there was a good chance the red one would come into play again, but wasnt patient enough to wait. Impatience is another one of my weaknesses.

Got a fresh green TL above. Will be something to watch out for. If it heads there to test and market looks soft, I might exit and maybe even reverse. Still biased long though for now

One thing I like to look at is where it turned last time it was at that price. Im looking to see how "easy" it was for traders to identify that a turn was coming.

The first line was where the first low occurred before FOMC. The second was after.

The first line was a "good enough" spot to me. It was about the same point that I felt strongly about the direction at that moment and went long, but I felt like I was quick to see it. Apparently it was too easy.

The second line is where only a few people knew what was about to happen. Anyone who got in afterwards and was still long had their gut checked. They were no longer in profit. Most traders are quick to put stop at b/e, for good reason, especially if they've been up quite a bit. This creates liquidity at those "obvious" (not always so obvious), but spots where things all the sudden look like they will reverse.

This liquidity gets targeted. Its the spots the very few were able to enter in that usually dont get touched. That was another reason I thought that first low would hold. But FOMC days can be a bitch

yes 200k, yes if you need more size its not for you effective, yes absolutely it's a great opportunity if you doing great.

Putting stop at b/e and setting target to 78300. Will be looking to short at rectangle if action looks right

if price takes out the blue line then upwards we go in a significant way.
The area pointed to by the arrowed area shows the price reversal.
If 76.5k is taken out to the upside then up we go

This is where the "easy entry" short was too at the break of that low.

Not sure if we can get there or not. Very sluggish action so far.

if we break the 76500 correctly we can eventually retouch 78800 if we go to the high dtl what are your though?

The blue line is still intact and unbroken.
It is being attacked as we speak and it is likely that it will fall
