If the chop indicator remains below 50 and the TRIX indicator is above zero, the trend will be up.

According to the technical analysis, everything points upwards. Take a look at the 4-hour chart yourself. The Choppiness Index has moved upwards beyond the limit into the ranging zone, while the TRIX indicator is below zero.

Perhaps someone is not familiar with the Chop indicator, here is its description:

Choppiness Index (CHOP) shows whether the market is trending or ranging (sideways).

1. Value above 61.8 → the market is ranging ("choppy"), no clear direction; trading with the trend is risky.
2. Value below 38.2 → the market is trending; price moves in one direction (you can catch the trend).
3. Values between 38.2 and 61.8 → neutral zone, transition state.

The higher the indicator (closer to 100), the stronger the "mess" and uncertainty.
The lower the indicator (closer to 0), the more confident the trend.
In practice:

1. CHOP > 61.8 → better not to open trend positions, wait for the market to break out of the range.
2. CHOP < 38.2 → you can trade in the direction of the trend, stops can already be placed.

Simple way to remember:
High CHOP = market is "chopping around" (no trend)
Low CHOP = market is "going" (trend is present)

GOLD - a breakout above 4780–4800 will activate an upward move to 4900.
