    Russian President Vladimir Putin has broken his silence on a U.S.-backed peace plan to end the war in Ukraine, saying Moscow is ready for “serious” discussions about the draft proposals. Putin said Thursday that the outlines of a draft peace plan that has been reached by the U.S. and Ukraine could be the basis of a deal that ends the almost four-year long conflict. “In general, we agree that this can be the basis for future agreements,” Putin said in comments made during a trip to Kyrgyzstan and translated by Reuters. Winter is coming, Russia is freezing. Ready for serious talk? Yeah right! Why not. Why don't begin by returning all Ukrainian children, then withdraw all Russian troops behind 1991 borders and then start paying for damage reparations? Then we can begin to talk about lifting some sanctions and all sort of other things!. Sounds good right!

I see two possible outcomes, well maybe 3...

1) Russia is decisively beaten down and pushed out of all Ukrainian territory
2) Ukraine is either defeated militarily or surrenders to Russia for some kind of "peace' brokered between the US and Russia
3) The status quo continues, with interminable talk about peace talks, concepts of plans, and the war continues for years

@ (1): This would involve full involvement of NATO. Not gonna happen

So, it'll be either (2) or (3). I'd have to bet on #2.

The lesson of the last 80 years for nation-states: get nukes. If you have nukes, you can get away with almost anything. Nobody will really fuck with you if you have nukes, especially if you seem crazy enough to use them, and regularly threaten to do so. Russia, Israel, and N. Korea are the prime examples.

u talk so much RUBBISH - time to learn what BIAS is ?????

Actually there is only 1 prime example - only the US has used nukes - USA on Japan in ww2
threatening is nothing compared to using them - makes US seem very bad especially when Japan was ready to surrender in ww2 and the US just used nukes to test them out. The US is the worst country on the planet for doing bad things
