i am by no means an expert trader or even considered a good one. but at least i have been trading since 2009. Just some pointers, if you have your own trading style stick to it and even write it down. The key is to follow your plan, find your style, do risk management and make sure dont overtrade. Keep your lot consistent and dont forget to lock your win by placing SL.
i know its basic, but if you need more suggestion i think the Thread Starter can give you more direction.

my next trade for today is a buy at 4086-80, sl at 4066 and tp at 4120-26 or hold till the end of today, if it doesn't come there today then i may not get entry today .

You said it all but having a good strategy is also a priority because if you don't have a good strategy you will give back the profits in the long run no matter how manage risk and can make you do revenge trading after a loss

Hello everyone.

On the monthly timeframe, the RSI indicator has reached the buy oversaturation level of 92 and considering that next week is the closing time of the current monthly candle and we only have one more candle in this timeframe until the end of the year, I think that the rest of the year will be bearish for gold, Because RSI indicator must be corrected itself on the monthly timeframe. What do you think about this?

Before you enter a trade set sl first before you hit the button or trade and set sl seconds after you enter the trade , don't wait for even 1 minute before you set sl because there could be a spike against you in just seconds after your entry no matter how you believe in the trade and don't ever trade without sl

my confirmation candles hardly fails unless i don't pay attention to it or follow to update, we could see a serious move down after market open because of FOMC

4000 area would be a great opportunity to buy, however need to make sure since news could make a fake breakout or fake rejection.

A lot is beginning to happen and experience traders will tell it normally happens at the end of the year and from the little knowledge i acquired this year on my own just reading economics though I haven't been in economics class before, i can say it's as a result of allocations and positioning of assets or instruments or even securities by market movers or institutions which is causing unnecessary volatility and therefore clearing of liquidity . yesterday wasn't a good day but today and tomorrow will likely be different so we are back to business with a little bit of carefulness .
