this dip was probably major profit taking and from now we can go to 46xx and higher

Well, for that to happen, there would need to be some significant news that convinces buyers to sell at a loss. These corrections practically establish a new price base, because that’s where most buyers enter. in your dream mate, another dream, look at history, have you ever seen any -5% drop lead to +10% after that? never! and this time it is the same, it only lead to another - 5% before a huge accumulation create at very low price, i would say 3k7 or 3950

To give some context on why i think this a chance to add longs on Gold in the long run:

1. FED will continue easing
2. FED is more concerned about the labor market + economic activity rather than inflation
3. Uncertainties, both economical and political wise.
4. Trade war.

Downsides:

1. FOMC coming up may be the trigger of a profit taking.
2. Investors can move their money from Gold to Stock Markets, if the trade war tensions ease and the economy shows resilience.
3. Chinese economy is booming and resilient, this may limit China's gold demand.

Absolute Facts:

No matter if the investors pick Gold over the equities or equities over Gold, USD is going to bleed anyways. So i think buying the dips on Gold and SPX is the best move for the bigger picture
