I don't focus much on TA atm. PA is more important to me. Every critical PA moment can act in it's own way. Resistance is undoubtedly present, but more important is how market participants reacts to these level. There is no binary solutions in the way I look at it. We are no longer observing XAU/XXX. It's (XAU/XXX)/GOLD.

XAUUSD is way more technical than other pairs. It obeys the mother of all moving averages (EMA200) even on small timeframes. Fundamentals mean sh*t to gold unless its inflation or interest rates or unexpected world event and other news are rather USD driven than gold driven and thus give less movement. Technically, we see a very small but clear intraday H&S, it seems to be a good setup to trade either day low or day high break tomorrow. Daily is nicely set up for that with tiny range just like last friday. Market seems to switch between consolidation and distribution phases quite often lately.

Once in a while I'll share the charts and today is that day. I think it is appropriate to share them today, because the situation might look very different tomorrow if the price on both the Gold and the Silver starts to tank rapidly post CPI.

These are all Long positions I have on both the Gold and the Silver.
