I think the rate cut (if it even happens) will be a buy the rumour sell the fact event. Now, putting the Fed aside... whenever I start thinking about something being overbought or oversold I just look at the JPY pairs and immediately get rid of that thought-process. Something can stay overbought or oversold way longer than we can stay solvent which you of course already know. The thing is, we don't really know where the top is. It could be around 2500$ or it could be around 2600$ or 2700$. I have no doubt in my mind that if the price does "break" (by "break" I mean that the price was never trading at 2500$, so there is nothing to break actually) above 2500$, that it'll return below 2500$ when the bigger pullback begins. However, is it really going to begin slightly above 2500$ or around 2700$?

Unfortunately, the Gold didn't hit 2450$. I'll probably close the Buy Limit Order if the price fails to activate it today. Concerning the Silver, I added some more Longs around 27.50$ just now on this drop.

That should be it for now... waiting for the CPI tomorrow. Expecting the price of the Gold above 2500$ and the price of the Silver at 28.5$. If alternative scenario takes place, then I'll start dumping some of my Longs on both the Gold and the Silver.

in my opinion within 1h30p if price doesn't break out it will be a double top h1 pattern and there will be a quick crash
news about war has been released but central banks have bought before and the current price has no more momentum .
