Heheh, these guys think they are the only ones with decades of experience.

It's clear to me that we have the same person with multiple usernames. It's impressive how one just shows up immediately after the other.
If not, then they have some sort of siren that rings 24h/day when the other buddy writes something.

Futures props pay him for all the bullsh!t posts he writes. His decades of experience is complete crap. His posts always hint that if you trade futures prop account instead of forex prop account, you will be profitable and make a lot of money, because futures props are not your counterparty and your orders are executed on the exchange. As I said several times before in this thread, futures props' trailing drawdown is many many times harder than forex props' static drawdown. The probability of making money at forex props is way higher than at futures props.

The only point of trailing DD is for people to fail....there is no benefit to it for the trader or the firm IF THEY WERE PUTTING YOUR ORDERS TO MARKET.
Unless I'm missing something, perhaps one of the "decades of experience" folks can enlightnen me on the benefits of trailing DD.

They don't bother me except for the lies that futures props like top step send trades to live market. That's a complete lie, or at least it was in 2020, checked by myself.

It was easy to see my trades from Interactive Brokers in the exchange and not the Top Step entered at the same time. Time & stamp in audit don't lie.

Do me a favor send an email to help@the5ers.com...brief explanation of the issue, they should be able to find you by your email (if the same as registration). I am having a 100% positive experience with them and the couple of questions I've had were responded to within the hour (mornings East Coast US). There must be some disconnect somewhere.

The main benefit of futures props is that they pay. Due to trailing DD & contract limits the failed trader to paid trader ratio is significantly higher than fx props. If you are one of the successful traders that can navigate around trailing DD, even the smaller futures props rarely have payment denial issues compared to FX props.

Just gonna let it be just to see how long it actually takes.

I had some HUB credits so I just used them up to get the challenge in the first place

Yeah, they're good. Slow to issue credentials and scaling because it's a small team of 2 or 3 people and there's no automation, all done by hand, and only during business hours in Singapore. But good account scaling, easy rules, and good support in their Telegram group. Eightcap MT4 only sadly. The only thing I don't like is a maximum 2 weeks between trades or your account is gone, POOF, no warnings. Oops. They could use some animation and a back office someday. But the price and rules and scaling and customer support are all good.
