yes its a pain and a worry going forward. I luckily had just got a payout. Then thought it was strange that it was taking more days than normal to issue a new account. They have now issued me a funded mt4 account insteaded of the mt5 I was using. I do however have a challenge on mt5 that I'm unable to trade on. Hopefully it gets sorted soon.

From the charts others showed here lately "bragging" of their trading patterns with fx prop firms it becomes quite obvious what kind of trader the majority who visit here is apart from Cryptosurf which mentioned his tradingstyle before and some others maybe.
Its like people are too lazy to adapt to markets which can make them profitable, its easier to gamble... and maybe gamble more.

Recently looked into some futures prop firm streamers on youtube. Due to how futures prop firms some of them like topstep and apex removed daily limits the hardcore casino gamblers flocked into the futures prop firm industry the last year too. As a samaritan its bothersome. Since futures prop firms takes 2x skills to be profitable from the simple calculations i did before when I compared it with fx prop firms.

I'll quote from what that big guy from the Bulls and Bears documentary said when asked how he could adapt to market "edge". He said. "I just stare at the screen, thats all I do then it comes to me". That guy he lost millions of dollars right but he still did quite well.
So compared to most here as I understand rather just pay not stare and have a good time to gamble.

It is possible.

That is why I am trading in that way.

There were occasional losses, but that I would recover.

If it is funded / challenge account, the daily loss limit will hurt.

In real money account, no.

In challenge / funded accounts, a continuous 2 day loss will eventually breach loss limit, in real money account, no.
Intraday only.

nonsense, i have just brought up another account in less than 25 days from under 100, i think it was $26, of course you have to accept the drawdown with such risk&growth.

you dont need prop trading.
trading is like dancing, don't think and just listen to the music!

you do need an offshore broker with 500:1 though. Very impressive.

thx, of course...the more regulation the worse for trading. i remember in 2000 they (usa) implemented the "pattern day trader rule" to "protect" the retail trader. they made it worse for good traders.

Futures has a bit of a learning curve coming from FX space for sure, but I had dived into Futures starting about 5-6 years ago. I always traded mostly US indicies as it is. I am also active in other Futures forums, talking to other Futures traders etc.

there is always few unhappy customers here n there … but 95% of them are happy thats my personal research…

You saying you brought up $26 to $8,000 in just 25 days of trading

how is this even possible
what kind of system you have that tell you where to enter where to exit and how your trades have more wins than losses
how you cherrypick??

yes, i am doing this regulary from time to time. its because i had a large, well-known broker with a good reputation
which went bancrupt. so i lost everything there.

so i know when this happens again, i am able to start from zero. that gives me tremendous confidence.

dont look for a "system", its more tactic, approach or commom sense.

1 of the regular members (cant remember, 2 old ) here did try out Tradeday , he was pretty positive about them

its very hard, there needs to be some bias based on which you are able to click that buy or sell button
and there need to be some mathematical calculation based on which you put quantity and sl and tp
you can't do just random, because you have to do that continuously
can you tell a little bit how you do trading? which timeframe you chose? are you scalper or what?
what is your average trade dration and r:r

But as mentioned, once you know what you are doing, even if you blow an account, it will not be the end of the world, because you can always build it back up again.

i am mainly scalping, taking 5, 10 or 20 pips. trading only GU (95%) and knowing this pair very well over years. beliefe me, you will start to see things you never thought about. like the charakter of a person, you will know in advance what he or she will do or say or what it means.

look at the h1 close of GU. how many times you would get 5 or 10 pips IF you just take the color of the closed candle as your bias for the next trade?

often.

the key is to know when you are wrong and you have to hedge, average or close the position with a loss. you only can learn through observation.

if one wants to convert 26 $ account into 52 $ account, I am sure he/ she does not trade in daily tf

Were they regulated?..... a well known, regulated broker went bankrupt and you lost everything???? Couldn't be, regulation protects us all.
