According to the CFTC the illegal instruments are anything CFD. They are considered synthetic swaps, whos price doesn't reflect on any centralized exchange. The decentralized nature of it is the problem. The trading conditions have always varied across different brokers. Some good, some garbage.

Exactly. It IS indeed the problem: in a centralized market, people can readily see whether their account is actually funded. Even the CFTC has managed to work that one out correctly.

I'd rather eat a big bag of shit than use earn2trade. I have traded futures professionally before (5yr 10yr and wheat), I do not like the rigidity as i have vocalized. There is definitely a place for "Cfd" or spot or otc markets and prop firms, especially with UK regulated liquidity due to fair execution practices.

I do hope MFF returns, I am skeptical on the regulators intentions. I am not satisfied with the current marketplace and if I wasn't old and busy with health stuff and having a life in what little life i have left I would go ahead and do it myself. I recommended people I know to do it but until the MFF case is resolved most people with half a brain are spooked with the uncertainty. The only people who weren't surprised by the MFF case were the ones who are involved in it, especially in 2023 when things were only better with them.

FTMO I thought would figure out how to take the market by storm, but I don't see them growing or changing their product/service any time soon. One day someone will rise, but it surely isn't the motley crew of Angelo, Matt Leech and Khaled. Perhaps soon the circus will roll out of town and things can go towards being more professional.

Exactly right. With a funded futures account, you just briefly enter an order far from the current price and watch it show up in the exchange’s DoM.

It’s objective and factual.

No fooling anyone like with CFD’s.

Or maybe you watch and don't see any order in the exchange audit because props internalize that, managing the risk with net positions and options...

I love the constant subtle futures prop pushing agenda by 2 of our favorite countertrend posters... they always seem to pop up together and quote each other lol. The futures props are the same virtual/simulated casino as the fx props.... with trailing DD most traders blow up before they get pushed to a live account & quite a few of the futures props like Apex and Bulenox never go to live accounts.

Apex is a complete scam and has been from the start, as I’ve always said. You only need to look at who runs it, and his history in the binary options "industry," to see that.

It isn’t a "futures funding company," though: it’s a forex prop-firm-scam which has added alleged futures accounts as an afterthought.

I’m talking about all the genuine, long-established futures ones who open real accounts (very easily verifiable!) for their successful participants. Topstep, Tradeday, and others.

It's so simple, and so obvious: if you simply use a futures one, instead of a CFD one, then of course it’s all the exact opposite: they genuinely win when you win, and obviously they therefore want you do as well as possible, not to get rid of you when you’re profitable. A whole different world that leaves all the problems behind. It's irrefutable.

After the video marketing of Kimmy about Alpha Capital, I asked a review here (thank you Capa)
I don't know why but I was in first a little septic about this firm.
But I have to admit they are simply good. Great promotions, no fees, excellent slippage (near zero), automation. Spread is not the best, like their dashboard (!!!) but Alpha Capital is probably a safe bet.
However, I remain a little doubtful with the size of their promotion (I hope it remains viable)

Very worried about TFF though. And of course, I'm on MT5 (lucky MT4...)

The Futures props have always been bullshit. Their failure rates must be insanely high, or more importantly their payout rates must be a fraction of a % given all the bullshit rules and barriers they put in place.

As the industry matures trust is going to be even more important. Sensible prop traders are going to realise that the best firms aren't going to be the cheapest with the best discounts and conditions, but the ones who don't screw you and pay you out. TFT, who are probably the biggest now FTMO have pulled out of the US, have been manipulating conditions for ages. It's easy to see they have access to the bridge / use plugins as they're so stupid they go hard even on small position sizes, whereas what they should have done is mimic the order book and started to mess with trades as position sizing goes larger. It takes skill to program the plugins to behave relatively naturally, and they don't have those skills.

The 10s of new kids on the block don't have a chance. The top 10 have the CFD firms locked down.

US traders may need to switch to alternative platforms like DX, TV etc if MetaQuotes pull the plug. Although

no one would be able to do that in this versatile ever changing market
4% daily growth, meaning 80% per month
& its commulative 4%, then must be doubling the account in just 20 days of trading
not at all easy

if you also share the actual method how to make profits daily in trading that would be helpful,
otherwise all these things are just calculation, possibilities, and possibilities of just positive side,
anybody can make this mathematical calculation on paper, execution in live market tough

if you have holy grail stuff, then it is fine, you can make much more than it.

Everything is possible if you put in effort and intelligence. I have known traders who have started with few thousands and now millionaires. You're just thinking and talking like 95% failed traders like this is not possible, holy grail, can't be done etc. People do not know how much 5% profitable people make in a day.
