And copper just continues higher. Pre-covid levels not out of sight.

Copper had a big pullback on FOMC Thursday but will end another week with impressive gains. Keep your eye on China's Industrial Production data after the open next week. It could set the tone for another week of gains for Doctor Copper.

Volume is coming back into the futures contract during this recent rally as well. A bullish sign.

Here's a look at copper (pink) vs crude on a daily chart.

Both commodities are reliant on both supply/demand. Much of copper's demand comes from China where as oil demand is more dependent on the US (to a lesser extent). Bottom line: As long as China's economy is doing well (not suffering like many others), then copper prices will be supported.

hit 3.2830 but of course, in keeping with my standards, i went in early. sigh. thought the trade is ok now, i'm not really liking the tape. so might exit. we'll see.

i actually think copper will go to all times highs. i'm thinking if there is going to be an economic reset where will the oligarchs with their trucks of cash put their money? not gold for sure. but copper.

way out there i know but that's predicting is all about. thinking way out there.

weak hands to strong hands is what the tape is saying to me. this ain't done yet.

Copper giving up a lot of gains in the last ~30 minutes. Crude doing the same. No trigger but looks like more than a pullback.

silver is a massive buy here. reckon 23.90 should be today tp.
