Hi O! zigzag, pivot points etc in fact this is all the same info we get from MT4....ever watched a magician/illusionist? They want you to look at their pretty assistent while they do their trick lol. just kidding but I think this is true. I only watch price levels or flip a coin.

The above quote of yours in post 452.... can you give me some more hints / info on what exactly this means with reference to a trade and hedging. I am not asking for you to reveal your strategy but what has this SQUARE reference to with regard to hedging that is being discussed in this thread.

Well, I was using Buy/Sell UNITS Offset. For example, if there's 10 units more, valuable... Else, not valuable.
I'll try to mix both! Example: if +10 units and +10 hours... I'm certain that It will increase the size between signals because will filter a lot of false signals and increase flip cost. But maybe It results in flipping less thus resulting in overral lower cost!

Squares are theirs universal equalizing system. At any given moment of time, they try to balance down both buys and sell anything. Time wise and distance wise. Money wise for sure, but we can see money’s details...

To find how squares are affecting everyone, one must ask oneself how is sl are being taken out? How exactly? Finding that structure will lead one to the unbreakable squares.

Then there are gear ratios. Then there is shit of gears. Slow gears (aud/nzd/eur/jpy currencies). Fast gears (indexes, gold at the moment). And there are wholes. They do break their own rules. For exact reasons unknown to me. Then they try to make it all up and balance out the extra widened movement?

That it is. Find how they stop us out. You will see their squares. Maybe not like immediately. But once in their track, you can’t just miss these equilibrium guys...

Dear MZ,
In one of your post, you wrote about how the Square/Cubic system will decreased the forward movement by 50%, so

tp10 / sl10 ~ 50% / 50%
tp20 / sl10 ~ 25% / 75%
tp30 / sl10 ~ 13% / 87%

I have a question, if we take a smaller TP than the SL like these :

tp5 / sl10 ~

How much will be the winning percentage for that setting?

Dear mav3n, tp5/sl10 will deliver 25%/75%. I am saying this based on the tp20/sl10 data you pasted. It is being like 3-4 years already I don't really look at that data, as the base is always a square and it is pointless to try to crack it. Long runs, they are unbreakable.

But, these 25% of 5tp, one will get after a very very long run. Short runs, like more often, the 10sl will get hit, maybe 90 times vs 10 hits on the 5tp. Then a burst of 5tp might follow. Long run, it will stay around 25/75. One might not endure the short run, as it is just pure luck on which gear they run it at the moment and is it a moment of movement or the price is being locked for a week or two? Why not more?

The problem is, as far as I recall it, during these times I was dealing with that data, that there is a decrease. A dramatic decrease. I was counting SLs and TPs and one is expecting 5/10 to be 33/67, but it was not like that. It came at 25/75 instead. I ran with my cousin 2008-2016 I think? We ran all possible combinations. Everywhere the data output was absolutely the same. We run it on 28 pairs + gold + de30. One could not say which pair was the data coming from and what was the square size? Same % values on all runs and combinations. Yeah, that was a long time ago...

The price app square system has a weak point. The last squares, not just the last one square, but the few last in there, are very fragile. All those last squares on all tops and bottoms, including the insignificant tops and bottoms, are their system's weakest points. They try their best to protect the insignificant squares located at minor tops/bottoms by putting more armour there. While doing this, they make new top/bottom squares, which are experiencing exactly the same weakness. This armouring thing cannot go on forever for all the squares. And those at tops/bottoms are being left behind at some point. Even the insignificant squares on the insignificant tops and bottoms got left behind... This is the base of my trading.

Oh my. This is what you call the price app square system!
I've observed it in many strategies that they all suffered with it everywhere when we test different combinations of TP/SL.

I didn't know it was the "square" system. I was amazed too. Actually very pissed.

What I'm asking myself is... instead of identify their system weakness, why not trade with their strenght?

This is happening at the end. When they are done with all fake movements and are ready to move on... Weakness is used just to watch the massacre from a distance. A safe place where they can't hurt you...

Pivot Points happen the same way. 80% of the time price is revisited...
The real problem trading those moments are when they actually move the rate... Then we face drawdown. But then everything goes back to normal at the equity line.

yes but these zones are different (there is 'ammunition' still there ;-))and at multiple timeframes Off, this was only an example 4H instead of the Weekly pivot points you like. so you can play multiple baskets or whatever right. And of course they can move the rate...they have more patience =$ agree. Once they will come back anyhow. last remark: pivot points is a formula in many variations just like a macd stochastics or whatever, I think the chart I posted is less rigid and is trying to show what is really going on.

I want to collaborate, but... My pick is on the easiest of the two options. The choppy pips are usually (not a rule, just usually or more often) equal to the stretched in the following movement, naturally. That is how their square system usually operates. The problem is the choppy pips require much more skills (I don’t have) and if not collected at their possible opportunity peak? The move away pips will cause bigger damage than what could possible be earned in the swing... Missing something on the movement is easier to handle, when not much hits were taken while the massacre is ends.

Hedging at massacre times is suicidal and does not work, unfortunately...

Thanks for the detail explanation, i previously thought that TP5/SL10 will have a higher opportunity to hit. Why it has the same probability as TP20/SL10?

If so, does it mean TP10/SL10 give us more chance? since it gives us 50% / 50% probability? Please forgive my naive question.

The only 50/50 is 10/10 or anything of this type where both sl and tp pips are the same value.

Never forget the losing streaks usually do come first and do come in bursts.

50/50 is impossible to make you any money, if lot does not grow... and the losing streaks are unproportional to the winning, as they do come first. One gets short on the balance.

I think 50/50 can be traded one and only by very experienced traders. Manually only. 50/50 cannot be automated. If it could? World would have been full with rich traders walking around like rock stars...
