1478.10 a SUPPORT level in July 2011 is now acting as a RESISTANCE level in December 2019. Change of polarity principle.
Bulls may be trapped.

US ISM NON-MANUFACTRUNG PMI came in at 53.blah blah blah. But, price keeps going down.
Your chart tells you everything.

Gold right now is looking kind of bearish after reviewing today's volume on the CME. Looking at this 30M chart the selling pressure is evident. Volume spiked any time we saw some selling. Longer term I'm still bearish but this is an argument for a pullback before a continuation.

Gold right now appears to be sticking in range 1472-1480 the last few days. Tomorrow will move the market. I think I am going to sit out until I see the move happening. I feel like the ADP #s scared a few - so we have a chance to see surprise on the upside on NFP. Could provide some momentum to head back down into the 1450s and 1460s

Well, I nailed that prediction, but was out of town and unable to trade. I want to believe we have some upside on Gold right now with all the uncertainty, but I don't know what in the world would drive the upward move. US-China trade war continuation is likely built in at this point. I feel only big move for Gold would be down if an agreement is signed. Perhaps a hard-Brexit might drive Gold higher, but I don't think that is going to happen. Anyone have a feel for what might push it higher in the short-to-medium term?

Right now we are getting set for the weekly open in gold. I don't think there will be a significant gap after seeing how FX opened, especially the yen crosses.

Low volume in Gold right now, after an expected slow open with barely any gap down. We might see volume pick up a little later when Asia (especialy China) opens.
