that person lives in South Africa, a 3rd world developing country with dsl Internet. what makes you think there would be professionals trading out of South Africa, which you probably know nothing about. if he worked for a broker in S.A. it wouldn't be one that services clients in the US, UK, or EU under the same account management. not least because it would need to have separation of regulated accounts in those locations which doesn't exist in South Africa. Think before you write it will save you embarrassment.


maybe you referring to this scammer , one of many scammers in South Africa who pretends to trade and knows nothing about trading or success apart from lies

nice language, says a lot about your dutchman attitude and intelligence. I know nothing ,have you even left the country and lived in a western country? I spend half my year in the UK or Europe and the other half in South Africa, right now I am in South Africa until Winter arrives then I am back to the UK for their summer. I know more than enough about this country and probably have more experience than you living outside the country. moreover, I spent the first 23 years of my life in South Africa so don't come here with your BS.

Are you really saying that no "professional retail forex trader" can be found in one of the ten most developped country in Africa ?

If that is the case, I doubt that professional retail forex traders can be found in the more developped countries also.

I never said that and it would be nice if you would stop assuming things. The average monthly salary in South Africa is equal to 1k sterling a month and there is little spare capacity for the average person to afford trading at a professional level let alone any quality training. all the the content I have seen here is scams and its allowed to carry on unhindered by authorities. to put the average salary in perspective. I am redoing my deck with wood stain and have spent 2100 rand on 3 tins which is equal to 10 percent of the average salary.

unless you have on the ground experience in this country you really can't just assume. 5000 accounts reviewed in an African country will be 5000 people hunting the dream of wealth they will never obtain due to the level of corruption.

I had a suspicion in my mind that this would be the case. I have a brother in law that grew up in South Africa and took my Sister away to Australia and are living happily married. They miss the open plain fields of South Africa and will die to get back to it. You sound a bit grumpy, that you left the green pastures of South Africa. I am not a dutch man and I embrace the new South Africa. You obviously could not handle it and that is why you ran away to the Uk. I do not need to live outside of my country because it is beautiful and I have everything I need here. Your 23 years of life here in South Africa is nothing compared to my 54 Years. Know your roots and stick to it.

I don't mind being around losers too, I believe the loss can be temporary and that each one can find success.

Naturally, I'd expect any real high-roller traders to keep low profile. They ain't got anything to prove.
Most likely they won't pop up on the retail traders forum and share their strategies, you didn't expect that to happen now, did you?

Also one thing to keep in mind. You will be hard pressed to find any FX trader, who nets 6 into 7 figures in USD a year.
You know why? Cause there's very likely only a few.

It's a whole different world in stocks/equity options trading. That's where most of the money is made.

grumpy, me, you have the wrong person. I follow the sun for a reason to avoid the cold weather that induces grumpiness. i am in South Africa from September to May then UK or Spain the rest of the time. I do this every year and never have to endure winter. do you still want to talk to me about grumpiness?

don't you look at people living in africa?

Africa always needed help ... of course it has the most developed places than others .... but it is a beautiful place full of people who suffer too, precisely by people like you who do not look at people from Africa.
