As long as this (kind/type) of people (presidents of most powerful countries) love gold, we have nothing to worry about it losing the appeal

Not much choice thereFor the other part.. I would prefer to be something in the best of both worlds.. So that the government's will respect the gold (backed currency)... AND that people have as much gold for their own personal "reserve" as possible...
I believe certain optimum/equilibrium do exist...For examples.. CN/RU becoming very powerful and/or just don't give it in.. I have red some rather interesting/serious study about certain countries the bringing back the gold standard part, even/also the US (if they could get past the gridlock they have been in for a long time - can not agree on anything almost, for quite some time)... I might say that after this playing/toying with the economy (via currency/debt)... that was not fun to look at..., it would be refreshing for "paper" or "electronic" money to be a little more than that.. just in case of the "times of need"
But hey, we might shot ourselves in the foot here, wish becoming reality... would maybe f-up our trading (potential)... Would be best to get rich (aka retired trader->investor

The watch is SOLD-OUT (I think) anyway, so wont do much to promote it
I also love other types.. specially since I tried the FAKE gold one one as a KID.. and it was AMAZING on my wrist, gold really does it, even fake one, not to imagine the real thing
Yeah, like many of you, I am not strong in (showoff) jewellery... But would feel amazing to wear this... even if only in private time, when trading gold for example, to set the mood right... It is also believed to be a good investment... It is border "over the top" that is why it is even more amazing.. And those stones look like THANOS stones So THANOS inspired trading hehe... I believe many people have some sort of rituals or superstitions to get them in the mood. Golden watch might be just one of those.. I know it would set me in the GOLD-en mood easily
