Beat me to the post, just wanted to say now that we had an obvious clearout this pattern is now potential A quality play if supply is taken out.

Got filled too high by mistake, sold that on BE and refilled lower on proper entry. Direct squeezes are always the best play, 2 minutes later your out of play and already lurking for another attempt elsewhere.

MCD on watch for continuation long play, quite consistent structure. Spreads a bit large. Since the consistency is very strong on lows this play might be better to get filled on lows on pre-break.

Unfortunatley that doesn’t work for spot fx as we pay commission based on size, not fixed amount per trade like stocks. Spread is also higher on most of the pairs.
A solution could be trading futures contracts - lower cost + better regulation. Did you try them, Jan?

Playing from the lows was indeed a correct decision. Also exiting on BE after decline as shelf failed to hold afterwards.

It depends on broker, i use ICM which has tight spreads and i also have 30% rebate on comissions, so technically any move above 2 pip (considering that spread is 0.5 pip size) is a valid play on my side. In either case i would suggest anyone trading M1 should be using ECN broker and if possible also using rebates.
Using the right broker is actually the most essential step that trader has to make if you are trading on low TFs. Perhaps i should have been more clear about this from the beginning and explaining it better.

Yes there are brokers like Tradeovate which do not charge any commissions on trades and also have decent spreads, but the liquidity is not great and their platform is right down terrible on performance.Additionally to that on futures on most brokers you get only few instruments. I dont know overall field well enough on broker side to really put any solid statment there could just as well be some great futures broker with many instruments and cheap commissions, its something that one has to research, just say for me ICM works fine and is no need to seek elsewhere.

By the way on equities i dont pay full round commission like most brokers charge. I have per share commission on private fund which is excellent for scaling in and out of position without extra costs and on Tradezero i usually dont pay any commission since its free if you trade with limit orders.

Looks like nobody caught a really good clearout on the lows of EURJPY, still a valid play if supply is taken out.
