The other thing I don't understand is the fact you folks are paying like triple the spread that I pay to trade with a broker that is outright scamming you. Seriously, someone provide just one benefit to a US broker. Just one.

Seriously it take ages to load into my account, phone app, desktop, web, none one is possible to login.
Their website loads fine. After I profit from them I will quit.

I haven't seen any issues with OandA and MT4 other than the spreads widening.

I've been with OandA for close to 20 years. I did let my account sit dormant for a good 10 yrs until late 2016 while I was with InterBankFX before they sold to Tradestation. I always hated their web/desktop/mobile platforms hence why I jumped to IBFX.

What offshore brokers accept US clients? Most of the ones I've looked at don't.

I'm with oanda, and only really see the spreads widen at the start of the Asian session on Sunday night. I've never really had any problems with them other than related to the regulations in place in the US. I'm considering an offshore broker. There is a list at babypips.com forums. Escaping the cftc or something like that. Pretty easy to find there.

I can't find time to candle close in fxtrade ? Is there the way to have it on chart ?

There is an issue with MT4 with every broker you will choose, coz it is a third party servers. Execute your trades only through fxtrade. Mt4 charts only bid price, and there is gonna be differents in charting with your broker, You didn't see the worst of MT4 when it was freezing for hours, and brokers couldn't do nothing with it. My advise for you use it only for charting and never place trades through MT4

Oanda what a hell, chat with agent doesn't work, I am waiting couple hours while I will be connected to agent, and nothing.

I've never had an issue with my platform freezing. I use Meta 4 for my analysis/execution. I also use Fxtrade from my phone for micro management.

The issue of leverage is also a non issue for me. 50:1 is more than I'll ever need to pay the bills and live comfortably.

Yea, I get it, I can put 10k in an offshore account with 250:1 leverage whereas the same trade with Oanda will require 50k in funds. I trust the financial health of Oanda as a corporation. They've been in business for 20 years and have a strong balance sheet and EVERY reason to continue down a responsible path. Especially since Forex.com got into trouble and FXCM got banned. Why would they risk their B-booking gold mine when they know they have little in the way of competition in the US.

In 11 years, I have never even spoken to a representative because I've never had any issues. I used online chat a few times to answer a few basic questions I had over the years. Other than that, 11 years of clean sailing and piece of mind.

I am moving to Canada in few months. I am intended to close my current trading accounts with fxcm UK and AvaTrade. I would like to know if anyone can tell me which forex broker to opt for while in Canada. thanks in advance.

I was with Oanda for 11 years untill I recently switched to Tickmill ... this last broker really opened up my eyes in terms of what a good broker should actually be ...

The question is if your offshore is safe?
Before Forex I was tall, and clean shaven. Now I am an Ewok.

And that's my main concern.
