11/24: The thread will no longer be limited to 3 min charts.
This thread will attempt to "systematize" trading using a combination of price action (PA) and median lines or Andrew's Pitchforks (we'll refer to them as forks for short).
Why 3 minute charts? Yes they are fast but they offer the opportunity to acquire understanding of how price moves and how forks can help in one's trading plan in a relatively short time. In other words your trading idea will play out rather quickly as compared to waiting for a H4 or daily chart for days and weeks.
I believe PA comes first. PA identifies the buyers and the sellers and ultimately where to buy and sell. Forks help describe the PA and they also help with targets but they are not used to signal trades...at least in this thread.
So as a general system the sequence of analysis will occur as follows:
1. Identify which way price is swinging.
2. Identify buyers and sellers
3. Apply fork.
