So using QuantData Manager to get dukascopy data is quite easy and comes without any problems when it comes to loading ticks etc, however, recently I tried to import 1 Minute Bars OHLC, and came across the following issue:
After successfully creating custom indicator and aligning it with the right currency pairs, I managed to load tick data no problem, then took the 1 Minute bar data and try to import it under "Bars" tab. Turns out the .cvs file is read no problem by MT5 and also it shows that it loads the data, HOWEVER, to verify if its there, I click "request" with some data frame that i know should be there after loading which returns 1 Minute bars: 0. This is the output MT5 gives me.
Can someone help me understand what is the issue.
I attached two files which are generated from QuantData Manager. On of the files is M1 generated from tick data, and the other one directly from QDM via their M1 bar generator.
Both files MT5 reads and loads, but when i go back to check is data is saved/stored using "request" is shows 0 bars.
