Hi there. Does anyone here that have been trading futures for a long time can help me understand this?
When trading futures, in Sierra Chart for example, why does the software aggregates new trades to the same spot on the chart?
For example, I like trading single bracketed contracts. In the case of the screenshot attached, I bought 3 contracts separately and at different levels, but Sierra chart added the last 2 positions to the same entry level of the 1st trade. (you can see it says 3 contracts @ x level)
This to me is confusing because on MT4, when you open new positions you can clearly see their entry levels individually and their IDs.
On Sierra, you donīt even know the to which trades belong the stops and targets, as you can see there is no ID and they all look the same. So this makes impossible to add to winning positions, how are you gonna do that if you canīt see the entry level of the latest trade so you adjust the stop?
Would like to see my positions like in this screenshot here, each position with itīs own entry level and stops and targets with ID:
