XAUUSD #Gold Bullish For Now, Reaching A Great Shorting Zone: Gold is reaching this zone where a huge monthly pattern is getting completed. It will be a monster opportunity to get involved when that HTF pattern completes.

Interesting thread... I discovered by searching XAU ...
XAU sems an instrument you have some "form" in, and understand.
Im a position trader in majors for most part (mostly portfolio related) and recently entered a small position on XAU (which weve never really traded) long.. based on the Covid19 scare .. and while oil/index shorts have paid of XAU position is so far being hammered.
I FAILED to rate the tech correction momentum and the XAU investor sell of XAU to cover equity/oil long losses..
So what I want to confirm is your advice on gold price recovery from here... and timing..
Im interested to see you suggest a recovery to retest previous highs in next weeks. but not continued rally above recent high..
am I reading this right?

Hi,

I am not suggesting the retest of recent highs however as I am currently long after a sucessful short, if this reaches previous highs then that will mean more profits for me. In my chart and weekly analysis Video I suggested that gold could go up with first target at 38.2 Fib @ 1611.468. That has already been reached and now market is showing little rejection from that level. It can completely reverse from here too. However if this levels is breached then we are looking at second long position profit target at 61.8 Fib @1641.437. Then we can look for a short opportunity at that level back in the red zone in my chart. If we get a chance to go short by looking at 4H time frame then we will sell it else we will stay long for larger profits. That's my trading plan on this. Hope this helps.

I had been considering R/R of averaging in at 1580s .. wavering... And your post tipped that decision..
So my small problem XAU position turned into a larger position and went ++ ..(caught the spike nicely.. liquidating at 1640) .
