H4 closes back above the hard stop handle at 1652.25 and has also continued to climb back above the H1 200 handle, as such the H4 bulls are clearly defending the the H4 buy zone, however there are obstacles that will look to cap further bullish continuation, first being price getting above the H1 hard stop area(1661.09) and closing above it As the H1 is currently in sell zone, and then secondly Price needs to get above the M15 handle. As things stand the battle becomes between the H4 buy zone and the H1 sell zone.

H1:Bearish and Zone:1660.19–1658.29 (1661.09)
H4: bullish And zone: 1658.14–1660.72(1654.34)
D1: Bullish end zone: 1639.77–1615.23 (1606.68)

A Elliot Wave perspective of your view. I think we can all agree that sentiment is strong bullish and momentum agrees with this sentiment.

On the Daily timeframe we have mild corrections with retracement unable to exceed 38.2%. This has led me to assume a wave5 extension and by the looks of the current 3 wave impulses we could be looking at an ending diagonal structure to complete Gols's rally.

Agreed!!!Fits in line with projected target from our H4 and D1 buy dips and the H4 Inverse HnS target towards the 1717 mark....first challenge now on the intraday setups is to way for the H1 zone to get the bullish aswell.....

Price above the m15 200 handle now, ideally would like to see London buying and then price retest the 1665.91 handle for us to load long....all we need to do for now is wait on the London Open

Update: London Sold off, price back below the m15 200 handle and also below the H1 hard stop handle as such we look for sell setups from the H1 and look at what happens when we get back inside the lower band of the H4 and near that hard stop area....

Update: H1 sell zone invalidated, as such becomes wise to not look for much to the downside. H1 candles also closing above the hard stop handle on the H1 as such we look to ride the H4 sentiment and look for buy dips alternatively sit it out till there’s more clarity with H1 turning bullish and then buying the dips....

Price currently finding support from the D1 buy zone.
H1 and flipped up and down throughout the day yesterday and finally finished off the reading day bearish and in the process turning our H4 zone Bearish aswell. As such we look to see how current Hourly candle closes for sentiment leading into the NY open session.
If we taking the lower time frame setups we need to exercise caution as the D1 buy zone is a couple of Pips below.....


H1: bearish and zone:1641.59 - 1646.29 [1648.54]
H4: bearish and zone:1650.49 - 1652.89 [1655.6]
D1: bullish and zone: 1637.65 - 1616.03 [1608.06]

Gold is quite choppy at the moment but there are some opportunities for a quick scalp to the downside. It will require a move back into the 4H sell zone (1650 area) to build up momentum to the downside targetting 1616 area. The bulls are patiently waiting at the 1616-1611 area which coincides with the 200EMA.

The 1611 is H4 200 handle. If you look at waveC, it's assumed to have 3 waves (ABC). The small arrow pointing up is a prediction of waveB of the waveC and it is assumed to retrace 38.2% of waveA of waveC.

Update:

Lets hang tight. Will refrain from adding Kong’s just yet, let’s see where this daily candle closes.
Will need to see it back above 1607 on a daily closing basis again.

Daily close below the hard stop handle invalidates bullish outlook for the interim, meaning till we get back above the 1606.90 handle on a daily closing basis then will be looking at a likelihood of further/deeper correction. Some fundamental factors currently causing some wild swings on the pair as such position size and market entry becomes key.

will stick to following the H1 setups closely as they are most current reflection of market sentiment.
