Hi,
I've created a Forex web based simulation/backtesting application. It currently only runs on Chrome and Firefox but it is enabled for both desktop and mobile with a mobile enhanced version. It's available at:
http://tradingbacktester.com
I'm looking for some feedback on whether anybody thinks its useful and if there is any benefit in me continuing to develop it. I'm a software developer and it's simply been a side project for me.
The demo link gets you into a sample backtest, however that doesn't save your progress. If you go through the sign in link, that allows you to upload your own data and save your progress and access it from either desktop or mobile. It takes a few seconds to initialise the chart the first time as it downloads the data so you need to be a bit patient there.
As I said, this has just been a side pet project. Theres a lot more I could do with it including more indicators, graphical tools, additional stats etc. One of the next features would be to setup rules for automated rules based execution, but more easily via a user interface form and not via some programming language.
But I'll only continue working on it if people think it's worthwhile otherwise I'll likely abandon it. So any feedback you can provide, good or bad, would be appreciated.
Thanks
