Oh well...SL hit. I guess that price gap from yesterday has to be closed before we see it go up again or continue down.

if yellen is talking tomorrow about usd rate hike - surely gold traders know dollar might go up on news, thus are holding off gold buys today, thus possible slide back towards 1200 range before deciding direction

but hey im the new trader - what am i meant to know

i've got stopped in eur and gbp. but gold look strange.. could this just what is called 'stop hunting?' before real direction?

Not really, as a rule all gaps will eventually be closed even if it takes days or weeks and that's what is happening...no SL hunting whatsoever.

but there's no gap in usd.
is closing the gaps in gold that also move the usd ? and other pairs also?

Well I have a gap on my charts since the Spot Gold market was closed last week Friday while some other pairs traded.

Dude, that's is the key.. Market is full of idiots.. Look 3 days before FOMC what it's doing? Everybody forget NFP already stupid

Dollar pushing UP for ZERO reason, just in case Old Lady will even mention Rate hike.. And I tell you what? Ain't gonna happened.

No rate hike in 2015 and possibly in 2016.. Economy is in the tank, little more performance like that and US will fall into recession,

and I think in reality it's never recover, cause what exactly been fixed? Nothing, Just more Printing, more QE, how's that can help?

Any reforms been adopted? None.. SO? QE4 Next.. Or At least Rate Hike has the same chance as next round of QE..

Sell DOLLAR which will drop like a rock after FOMC, sell USDJPY, buy GOLD not now, WED Night, after FOMC.

For now I'm shorting, join those Criminals, cause they will still push GOLD below 1200 GUARANTEED! Watch!

By the way 5-year GOLD has full retrace back..

short from 1218 yesterday and loving this smackdown....target 1200 testand hope to see 1100 end of year. gold needs to melt down to fib 50% , so about 950$ still way too high, half the miners need to pay for investing in property during the gold bubble

Nothing else. Fundamentals been bullish all those years. How come 65$ Trillion DEBT is bearish for GOLD?

Yes, economy is in the tank...but Fed more likely to raise rates anyway. In a sense, they will raise rates to preserve their own power, the global economy be damned. A 0% interest rate environment has created a bigger bubble than 2008 and the Fed knows this. They also know that they need to deflate the bubble slowly if possible (likely not) so they are giving the markets time to adjust to slightly higher rates that will go up very very gradually. As for gold prices, they might go up as economic weakness persists and geo-politics looms in the background. Greece, Ukraine, the Middle East...or some unforeseen event is likely to keep gold within the current range. My view is that gold will not go up too far, and the bias for the next several years is down to 950-1000 level. Inflation...or possibly stagflation...will push gold back up along with increased central bank buying, but I believe this to be some years down the road.

Just relax and wait for another London Open, before FOMC guarantee drop.

skyzer just dump your miners before they go BK, cut your losses and short any spike...miners are dead until 2017...youre holding dead miners since 2012...let them go because you seem angry everyday, move on and cut your bad trades

Today London session doesn't seems to touch your mentioned TP. Hopefully NY session fill your TP.

Check the chart again.. Min TP is $5, I usually set it to something like $7 and if, I see it's not going to happened, I just manually closing

the trade, but again, this is hard to figure out, why? sometimes it could be $3 and sometimes $15 + So I set it to $7

Now I did short manually For COMEX session, twice at about 1211 and 1213.40 (added) still 30 min to go, until Comex closed..
