Hi there,
This thread is for anyone to discuss the ProScreener software that IG index use on advanced charts. For awhile I have been trading with IG and after using the quick chart system, realized I needed something better. I tried the advanced chartist software they have and it seems okay, maybe as good as MetaTrader, but I'm used to MetaTrader so it was a hard transition.
Now I know how to code correctly with ProScreener, I am attempting to create a system that will run against any exchange or forex markets.
The system..
I want to run an ADX indicator check against all the stocks on an exchange and see if they have a reading of 29.9 - 30.05 and it will pick them out and put them into a spreadsheet for me, giving my possible trades!
Then it will compile the DI+ and DI- to give the strength of the trend.
Ohh and this will be run every morning on the closing price of each stock or currency price if you want to use it for forex.
The stop loss will be placed at the previous days high if we are going short or vice versa.
I would really appreciate anyones opinion or input on this?!
Thanks - PipMunch
