I trade multiple pairs and when I get an alert it used to annoy me that I would have to flip through various charts to see which pair was giving a signal.
I modified the normal playsound code to include the symbol var so you can use custom sounds for each pair.
I'm not sure if others have used this but I have not seen it before and find it very useful for trading multiple pairs.
The code is fairly simple. Just replace any instance of playsound code with the following.
To make my custom alert sounds I use the sample sound demo at the cepstral text to voice website. You can also use windows built in text to speech program. I prefer cepstral so I can also use different voices and languages.

You can create custom sounds by changing the text as needed like "MACD Alert Long British Pound US Dollar" Using the sample text box when you click the speaker icon.
When you click preview just save the file to your sounds work folder with the proper text in filename. ie: usdjpylong.wav
PS You can assign multiple alerts as well if you use different indicators, time frames etc. Just name the custom sounds for each with something like:
gbpusdlongm5.wav
Just be sure to add the proper name in the code for each custom indicator alert you create.
Thanks to this simple change, I can just wait for a sound alert and I know instantly which chart to check.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.

Inserted Code
PlaySound(Symbol()+"long.wav"); // You must have custom sound files named by pair like gbpusdlong.wav in your sounds folder for this to work PlaySound(Symbol()+"short.wav"); // You must have custom sound files named by pair like gbpusdsounds.wav in your sounds folder for this to work
