My Verdict:

  1. The gap is the dominant feature – gaps of this size (from $4,052 to $4,100+) frequently get filled, especially when driven by headline risk that can reverse quickly.
  2. $4,086 is the line in the sand – if London holds above this, the bulls are in control. If it breaks, expect a gap fill toward $4,053.
  3. Setup 2 (Sell the retest at $4,130) offers the best risk/reward – it targets a gap fill with excellent R:R.

The $4,053 level is the gap fill target – if price retraces there, it would represent a full reversal of the weekend gap. Watch how London reacts to determine which direction the week will take.

I see gold going abit higher. Like I said, the sells for me isn't now because the DXY is dropping with is going as planned. midweek, ill activate the sells. Hopefully, it all pans out. The sells is expected to be massive. Atleast 1000-2000pips should it happen.

Let's see how DXY behaves over the next couple of days. That should give more clarity on gold.

this trade filled all my criteria for buy but was bit tacky because market could fill the gap open also i don't ignore and miss trade because it could affect my RR in overall monthly basis.
