I feel like till now the market has been in a passive sell mode.. n we might enter into active selling/buying soon enough-
1H tf shows the market trying to digest/absorb the buy orders, n as for today i think a huge wick should prolly neutralize all the liquidity ( could be wrong too, but dunno for now )

I saw the 1H.. on both Copper AND XAU stuck between positive 50EMA and negative 20 period Bollinger levels... hopefully a bit of movement on next candle.

Thank you, I exited my long after seeing your input. I suspected it but you confirmed it for me. How do you track the orders being placed? I've tried using order books before but it's just confusing to me. I just use the volume indicator on trading view now.

Not to argue politics but trump did a complete 180 on his immigration policy, firstly by letting the wealthy buy citizen status in the country then more recently by pulling ICE out of areas where illegal immigration was running rampant. He has done a massive disservice to his voters by both doing this and entering the war with Iran which he promised not to do. I'd get your facts right before insinuating other regions are "weak" and "politically stupid"

So far gold has not reacted quite as many hoped with the war and oil supply. Plus I would say that has a more immediate direct impact on oil and thats where the money most likely would be first

I think since the end of January we've seen the volume substantially down for gold. That 1100 point slide down wiped out a lot of interest there and the increase of margin requirements from brokers (at least in the US) reduced trading activity for many (including me, where I used to trade 3 GC contracts regularly, they changed my margin requirements from $34K to $84K even during intraday). Couple that with traditional investors realizing that Gold was no longer reacting to macro events like it used to, and then people/institutions have become more reserved. I think the last year of growth has shown that it's unreasonably high even with all the crazy happening and the volatility that did exist doesn't exactly make it the "safe haven" asset it once used to be.
