QuoteDislikedYou can't back test the SDRC system using historical charts. If you try to figure out if the system made money without getting stopped out it's impossible to know. During the day you can't see the price movement within the body of the candle. Price fluctuates but you can't see it.
So if you don't have access to minute data that makes up every daily backtested candle you are performing "mental masturbation".

Quoting jest1081DislikedThe way i see it.... Systems that work now, fail when market change moods.
SRDC, imho, its not a system, its price analysis, learn it carefully, take the jist of it, you will understand what the implementor was actually trying to convey, not many people out there is teaching price analysis, isnt that beautiful that we have got one here? How do you backtest price? hahaha. Look carefully, read carefully.
What traders always do wrong is their never ending search for a system, they keep looking and looking, when they got one, they thought hey here's my grail...they used it made some lost some then a new system which could harvest BIGGER pips got introduced...they jumped the bandwagon(just the time when they're abt to be consistently profitable).....
When will it end? Belief in MA, pivots, rsi, bbands etc etc wun get you anywhere. Its all up there in the head that needs a lot of tweaking.Ignored

Quoting steinitzDislikedI agree with you. Traders are looking for a "black box" or something consistent. Markets change and traders should adapt. I turned 25,000.00 into 275,000.00 in 2 weeks trading my full account (demo) on every trade using my "Steinitz" system. If I had the balls to trade that in my live account I would probably be doing some drugs and snuggling up to a couple of hookers here in Vegas!

Quoting Traderbill07DislikedSteinitz, Perhaps if the system you are currently using was making pips you would find something positive to say about it instead of trashing a system of which you most obviously have no knowledge. SRDC I can be back tested but more importantly you should see why the SRDC thread is the fasting growing in Forex Factory. SRDC I is a very simple system, trading at the highs and lows of the previous day. Come join us and see why we are loyal to the system. There is only one reason and it is because we are making money. Now because this is a family area, I think you could have found a better choice of words to use.

Quoting jarcrockerDislikedThis poll can only be unbiased if every voting member has used every trading system. You can't honestly say one system is more profitable than another unless you have tried them. Plus there are alot more users of some systems here than others. The most accurate, unbiased method would be let people judge results. Instead of voting perhaps we could post % results over a period of time trading with specific % drawdown. That would give an accurate, level playing field.Ignored
