Whether the deal (Withdrawal Act Bill: aka WAB) passes or not, GU will be unlikely to react in equal measure.

If WAB passes then primarily GU will rise as a result of the markets being relieved that a No-Deal Brexit is off the table for good and there will be so much less uncertainty about the future. If it fails or MP's try t amend it again, the doubt about No-Deal will remain as it will dilute the likelihood of success of getting passed anytime soon, if at all. Simultaneously, if WAB fails, No-deal will not be a default expectation as other things then come into play, such as enforced extensions, WAB amendments, re-votes and many other repercussions. The uncertainty will continue.

It's not a given that GU will plummet by as much as some might assume. Markets don't often react in reasoned proportion. I'd argue that fundamental positioning based on old foundations and assumptions are more likely to be proved wrong than right.

Even as I write this, this moment in time becomes 'past' by the time it's written: 'old' data and foundation for any predictions later today. The markets anticipate the future, based on assumptions in the present or past. Markets tend not to be logical and proportionate as a result of they're being a very complex mish-mash of everyone's opinions, prejudices, positions, known and unknown consequences and financial clout. It makes for the pleasure and pain. Embrace it. Have fun with it everyone.

GU has always been interesting to me. perhaps you ask why? I answer you that this pair makes challenging between fundamental and technical. it causes me think and Analyze for hours. one of this challenging happened when Mr Johnson became PM. strangely strong support lines were broken and technical efficiency faded in the front of Fundamental's strength. what i found out about GU is that most times we'd better give priority to Fundamental when Tech and fund are in two opposite paths.
but at the moment, GU has to fall based on Time frame 4H, daily and weekly but as i said, i personally give priority to fundamental. no one can precisely say what will happen on Tuesday but we can just talk with high or low possibilities, it seems deal has needed 320votes to be passed but I'd like to mix some technical with fundamental. for this purpose, i love buy stop. I open long with proper volume at the strong resistance lines. that i am sure that GU will break it just in the event of passing deal. We can use the same about sell stop.
Briefly i believe that Johnson's deal will be passed and GU will inter the channel 1.30 and then 1.3280 and finally near 1.34.

What they are going to vote is the Withdrawal Agreement Bill (WAB), that is how the deal is converted into laws

If a 2nd Ref or customs union amendment is tacked on to the bill then the gov will withdraw

I'm confused. I thought the speaker said today that they can't re-vote on it? "Speaker says there will be NO meaningful vote today - he has refused to allow it. Speaker says it is the "same matter" and therefore cannot be put to MPs again." Did they just delay it one day or is tomorrow's (Tuesday) vote something different? Thanks.
