The Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) rose by 3.0% in the 12 months to May 2026, unchanged from the 12 months to April. On a monthly basis, CPIH rose by 0.2% in May 2026, the same rate as in May 2025. The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rose by 2.8% in the 12 months to May 2026, unchanged from the 12 months to April. Hey, rem on the DXY GBP is only 11% after Euro and JPY. Usually, gbps actions are swallowed by the Euro so you might need to lower your expectations when it comes to GBP and its effect on spot gold. Also, the significance of UK's CPI/PPI are quite low on the whole DXY basket. When it comes to the UK, only interest rates and politics can cause a meaningful impact. If I were you i'd hold on for FOMC, but I am not
