Consumer price inflation, UK: April 2026
The Consumer Prices Index including owner occupiers' housing costs (CPIH) rose by 3.0% in the 12 months to April 2026, down from 3.4% in the 12 months to March. On a monthly basis, CPIH rose by 0.8% in April 2026, compared with a rise of 1.2% in April 2025. The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rose by 2.8% in the 12 months to April 2026, down from 3.3% in the 12 months to March. On a monthly basis, CPI rose by 0.7% in April 2026, compared with a rise of 1.2% in April 2025.
