I think what’s happening here is the medication is wearing off and an extra dose is required ; ( it being age related ) alternatively the meds need changing after the weekly review .

It's different when he's posting a bunch of conflicting signals, and then some days it's immune and other days we get a 500 point rally on BAD news, and then the random ass gold spikes and drops this month and last month. He needs to fucking stop.

Ironically, some could argue he knows exactly what he is doing.

The markets are flying higher after the ceasefire (and the constant barrage of news was been ignored). So long as he keeps feeding the beast (i.e. oh, it's just another Trump rant), but not decidedly finalizing anything, the markets will keep focused (loosely) on his rants....and NOT be as ready to bet on future inflation expectations, etc.

But, yes, a down move would be greatly appreciated at this point.

I am referring to any dip since the rally off the 3/30 lows, but yeah, it was nice to ride that rally though about the middle of last week.

My concern with the market is, presently, not the direction, but the velocity. The distance from the 50day MA for the /NQ, as of Friday's close, was the largest % gap since the COVID rally. The difference is that the COVID rally saw several 5% pullbacks to keep markets bouncing off the 20day MA (50day if the 20 broke) . Can this keep going? Sure. But things have to slow down in velocity and either consolidate via time or price so allow the MAs to catch up .....or risk a scenario like what happened with gold/silver earlier this year.

Markets are mean reverting, even if they have positive drift.

Sure... after some of the tariffs from the previous round were canceled by the supreme court and refunds were given to the companies NOT to the people that paid them
... now he needs MORE tariffs so that the people can pay an additional round of money, and when these tariffs get canceled, Trump's buddies can get a new round of money.

All this stuff will somehow show in EBIDTA for companies. You invest in the number not in the meaning.
