Nearly a year after last April’s minority government win and on the heels of courting five opposition MPs to cross the floor, Carney’s grip on power just got tighter. What?! Socialism and Maga ideology are polar opposites. The goal of socialism, whether you agree with the methods or not, is to achieve the greatest common good for everyone. Not just white hetero people with utility as a consumer and producer, but everyone. No exceptions. Maga wants the greatest good for Maga and to hell with anyone else.

I'll be the first to agree that socialism has so far totally failed to achieve its goal. But we better figure it out because runaway capitalism (the thing that's suppressing salaries, btw) is taking us all off a cliff.

We can already automate enough jobs to crash the economy, the tech is in place. The only thing stopping that crash is the slowness of deployment. When 30% of all jobs have disappeared forever and the rest are on the chopping block, I bet you are gonna turn into a socialist (someone who thinks we should all share ownership of production).

Hey Canadian, I live in Canada. How are you enjoying a sell out from Liberal party since 2015.
