Brazil national industry grows 1.2% in March, highest rate since June 2024

Brazilian industrial production grew 1.2% from February to March, after registering 0.0% in February and 0.1% in January 2025. This is the highest growth since June 2024 (4.3%). Compared to March 2024, the industry had a 3.1% growth in its production, the tenth positive result in a row and the most intense since October 2024 (6.0%). In the year, it accumulated an increase of 1.9% and, in 12 months, an expansion of 3.1%. With these results, the industry is 2.8% above the pre-pandemic level (February 2020) and 14.4% below the highest point in the historical series, obtained in May 2011.
