I will not comment my previous post other than state the following:

(1) on the 8 Hour, the market is Short on the basis that the market has breached the last Long signal (i.e. signal #5 on 8 Hour chart above), and

(2) on the Day, the market is Bearish above the RED line = Short level @1149.26. Bearish does not mean Short. The term "Bearish" is used to indicate that a Bearish retracement is imminent. Compare this signal to the Bullish signal on same timeframe. You could also refer to my Post #1,320 above ( http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...37#post9355137 ).

The term "Bearish" is used to warn traders that a Bearish retracement is imminent in a Long market cycle whereas the term "Bullish" is used to warn traders that a Bullish retracement is imminent in a Short market cycle.

In other words, when traders see the words "Bearish" or "Bullish" it implies that market direction remains intact or unchanged.

Looking back at our chart in Post #1,341 above (http://www.forexfactory.com/attachme...8&d=1483120162) or see updated chart in post below, we have the following:

(1) on the 8 Hour, we are in a Short market and the market remains Short while below 1159.62 which means we have (or had) a Short entry @1158.18 with a Stop Loss @1159.64 (or slightly above), and

(2) on the Day, we are in a Long market and the market remains Bearish (not Short) while above 1145.54. We expect the market to resume Long.

The outlook on these timeframes remains unchanged until the market breaches last signals (i.e. signal (5) on 8 Hour and signal (4) on Day respectively) or until the FIA generates new signals for these timeframes.

Given the chart above, our trading strategy favors Long trades for today as follows:

First, we have a Low signal on the Day which suggests we enter a Long trade @1194.73 with a Stop Loss @1188.30 (or slightly lower - usually no more than 1.00 below).

Second, on the 8 Hour, given we have both a High and a Low signal, we have the 2 following possible trade entries:

(1) Long @1191.82 with Stop Loss @1187.63 (or slightly lower - usually no more than 1.00 below), and

(2) Short @1205.58 with Stop Loss @1206.17 (or slightly higher - usually no more than 1.00 above)

Knowing the Day is Long, we expect the market to breach the High on the 8 Hour so we choose to enter only one trade as per option (1) above.

Generally speaking, I can say that trading is quite boring in and of itself since the FIA does all the hard work, all that is left to do is to enter the trades!

With the FIA, making money is easy, far too easy!

Without the FIA, making money requires significant effort - like one or more full-time jobs - and is usually considered by most as being the most difficult part of life!

No, I won't be posting today.

As mentioned in a previous post, my reason for posting here is quite different than the reason most retail traders come to use FF.

What do you mean, I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

Now that's a simple question which cannot be fully answered in a post like this but let me give you a few hints.

Firstly, most "traders" (more like wannabe traders) on FF are not business minded. In other words, they truly don't view trading as a business. Most traders here are willing to waste their time trying out the countless, worthless methods found on FF and that is precisely what a business minded person would never do.

The number one rule for a business minded person is "time is money". Time wasted is money lost. A business minded person is eager and willing to spend money on a method that will save them valuable time and ensure they will achieve success within a minimum amount of time and effort.

Secondly, most "traders" on FF lack the skills and knowledge to enable them to know the difference between a method that works and one that doesn't. The vast majority of the methods offered on FF for free by all the self-proclaimed "traders who are so loving and caring they wish to help the trader community achieve success for free" are worth exactly what they cost, nothing while a great many others are pure scams.

Thirdly, most "traders" on FF lack the equity required to begin with in order to be successful in the trading business. They have no idea how much it costs to start with.

Now do you see why 90% of the retail traders fail and will continue to fail in this business?

Also, most traders will fail because they believe many false assumptions about the financial markets.

The number one false assumption which traders ("lazy traders and analysts") seem eager and more than willing to believe is the financial markets cannot be accurately and reliably modeled therefore they cannot really be understood. In other words, a trader is a gambler.

This is absolutely false.

The FIA offers irrefutable proof to the contrary.

Perhaps my two previous posts could be better summarized in the following statement:

Business minded people much prefer work with likewise business minded people.

The number one and most important question every trader should be asking those who wish to introduce them to their "method" is the following:

"Can the behavior of the financial markets be accurately and reliably modeled?"

If their answer is no, run and don't waste your time and money on it!

They most certainly have no clue what they're talking about!

If their answer is yes, ask them to prove it to you.

HINT: the most compelling proof or evidence they can offer is a fully automated market analysis application.

You should question and even perhaps dismiss any hand made or semi-automated method which offers an endless set of rules or requires you view countless hours of video training lessons or read through thousands of posts in order to learn the method.

Such methods are not well thought out and will create more confusion than anything else. They will create doubt and only contribute to destroy the confidence you need to become a successful trader.
