Both signals above remain valid until they are breached.

For a breach to occur we need the following:

(1) on the 2 Hour, the market (2 hour candlestick) must close above the Short level @1176.78, in which case the market would be reversed and considered Long above the Long level @1171.37


(2) on the 8 Hour, the market (8 hour candlestick) must close below the Long level @1163.71, in which case the market would be reversed and considered Short below the Short level @1168.48.

Using the FIA, traders need only "Sell the Highs" & "Buy the Lows".

On the 4 Hour timeframe in my previous post, you can now see the Low signal generated by the FIA this morning.

You will also notice at the beginning of the week, the FIA generated a High signal on the same 4 Hour timeframe.

These signals indicate the High and Low of the week respectively.

In other words, the market has completed it's short cycle for this week.

A corollary to my statement "the market has completed it's short cycle for this week", the market is now beginning a Long market cycle on the 4 Hour timeframe.

A Short market cycle is always followed by a Long market cycle and a Long market cycle is always followed by a Short market cycle.

All timeframes continuously alternate through Short and Long market cycles.

From the 2 Hour above we read, the market remains Short while below 1177.76. To reverse Long on this timeframe, the 2 Hour candlestick must close above the Short level @1177.76.

From the 4 Hour above we read, the market remains Long while above 1162.11. To reverse Short on this timeframe, the 4 Hour candlestick must close below the Long level @1162.11

In a similar fashion, this time providing the 2 & 8 Hour timeframes instead of the 2 & 4 Hour timeframes.


From the 2 Hour above we read, the market remains Short while below 1177.76. To reverse Long on this timeframe, the 2 Hour candlestick must close above the Short level @1177.76.

From the 8 Hour above we read, the market remains Long while above 1163.72. To reverse Short on this timeframe, the 8 Hour candlestick must close below the Long level @1163.72

Notice how we now have a Low on the 2 Hour timeframe in my previous post.

This indicates that the market has now completed a Short market cycle (i.e. from High to Low) on this timeframe and has now begun a Long market cycle (i.e. from Low to High).

The FIA has generated 2 new signals:

(i) on the 2 Hour, we have a new higher "Low", signal (3) on chart above, and


(ii) on the 4 Hour, we have a "Neutral", signal (4) on chart above.
