Hello, I have been following this thread before but it seems to be little inactive right now. So I would like to add my views on gold and the suggestion from everyone are most welcome.
Now we know there is most appealing world outlook about the Federal Reserve rate hike going on, officials with dovish statements are making gold prices tumble more than ever. And Rate hike this year will set more pressure over gold prices. Recently gold prices rebounded from its lows of $1120 to currently trade near its most closely watched critical level of $1150. Gold prices breached the level of $1150 during mid July and tried to make a comeback during mid august but couldn’t able to sustain. Even now due to rising issues in US, dollar have weaken giving boost to gold as safe haven but still the level of $1150 is strong enough. Now after the comments from World Bank towards china and its stability in stock market, also rising expectations that fed might not hike rate this year. I feel that $1150 is not that far but speculation regarding US rate hike still remains, may be for the near term or later, it will push gold back to its lower levels. I would like to hear your views on it and tell will gold prices be able to trade above $1150 or not.

Gold is bearish in long term . But in short tetm u can trade on breakout on daily.

I think Gold is best option to counter inflation...Buying and holding physical gold for the long-term would surely beat the inflation and heck and it generates some extra income as well...In my humble opinion, as long as we're using paper money and central banks keep printing money whenever they like, inflation will be persistent year after year and precious metals prices will always beat inflation on the long-term by a wide margin. That's just my 2 cents

If the stock market continue to search direction at actual levels I think there's good chances for a break up from the blue rectangle. Long trend is clearly bearish.
Quite new in TA, so any suggestions are welcomed.
