On the chart of Friday July 24, 2015 the app indicates it has identified a technical "Low".

If you had entered short @1132.70 as per the chart posted on July 19, 2015, you would now be closing all your short trade(s) taken during the week.

Assuming you have taken only one short trade on July 19 and assuming a closing price @1081.35 (see chart above Post #1041), we have the following scenarios:

(1) Short 1 Lot: your profit for the week would be 5,135$, or


(2) Short 10 Lots: your profit for the week would be 51,350$, or


(3) Short 100 Lots (for those of you who could afford it): your profit for the week would be 513,500$.


All-in-all a pretty profitable week, all on a SINGLE TRADE.

Your profit could have been much more significant had you been using scaling technics to maximize your profits.

Another option could have been not to take your profit but to remain in the market in a multi-week trade.

Yes, I'm sorry for posting my chart late. It's summer here so my wife and I decided to take another long weekend off.

Nonetheless, I thought it would be a good idea to post the chart anyways and explain the exit strategy given the short trade setup posted on the app on July 19.

The first is an updated chart from the one I have posted earlier (see Post #1,045 above) and the second is a regular 1 Minute chart.

The blue lines on the second chart indicate the Long Retracement levels on the app for the 2 Hour, 4 Hour and Day timeframes only.

It means you are long from 1192 area right? And what's your TP and SL?

I'm truly impressed!

You are correct.

Based on the app, the 2 hour timeframe favors Long trades which means we are Long above 1092.15.

The Stop Loss is slightly below the candlestick low on the 2 Hour timeframe @1091.41 while your Take Profit would be slightly above the candlestick high on the same timeframe @1095.32.

That being said, since the Day is Short and the Long Retracement level is @1095.94, I am looking to short at or near this area.

the market on the Day remains short below 1097.11

Below are 2 charts:

(1) Financial Instrument Analyzer chart, and

(2) a regular 1 minute chart with Key Retracement Levels calculated by the app. On this chart, we have the 2 Hour Short level @1094.46, 4 Hour Short level @1094.43 and 8 Hour Long level @1096.71.

Agree. Demand levels are quite low on higher timeframes.
