I was about to seek clarifications on the indicator that you had done a while earlier when I saw this post with a new indicator.Thanks for a super job at supersonic speed. I will try this and revert back. If its not a bother I would also like you to post mq4 file also along with the ex4 files. For now a million thanks. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi fxdaytrader,

The indicator works fine, though its just a few minutes of testing that I have done. I will test for one full trading day on Monday and come back to you for the feedback.

Thanks once again . Thanks to you and also all the experts who always have rendered their help to laymen like me who do not know anything about coding MT4.

Hi,

This indicator shows open and close positions on the chart along with the trade profit. I'd like the profit to be in pips rather than actual profit value. If this can be coded that would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

you must attach the .mq4 file because .ex4 files cannot be edited. or use forumsearch, there are plenty of indicators which do what you're looking for available ...

nice to hear. I have updated the indicator (and fixed one minor bug) so it should alert when price breaks out of upper or lower kumo ...

Thanks. I will download and test these additions and modifications that you have made. And I really appreciate your help. As regards the mq4 file, its no big issues for me. Your decision to send or not is accepted and appreciated .

You have mentioned some more options added. You already have mentioned about the break of upper and lower kumo options. Are there any other options other than this that you have added.

edit : I noticed that you have added option for the chickou span crossing the price up / down.

Secondly, I noticed from the indicator that you have used the settings of 7,22 and 44. ( I am aware that I can change these to any settings of my choice ) but I would like to know the reason for using the above settings. Is there any trading strategy that you use for trading the Ichimoku with the above settings that you seem to prefer. I am very eager and curious to know about any strategy that you use with these settings to trade any particular pair on any preferred time frame. Your reply and feedback is awaited.

Anybody can suggest a zigzag or a different type of high and low indy that is bit reliable

I have been testing this latest version of the indicator. I am thankful to you for adding the kumo breakouts and the chickou crossing price. There is one small modification that is needed as regards the chickou breakout. I would like this to be modified as indicated below.If the last candle bar closed above the kumo ( either a breakout or even later after the breakout ) the chickou alert should sound as indicated below.
In case of last candle bar above the kumo, the chickou should alert only if the chickou has crossed and closed above the price ( of candle bar minus 22 ) and the candle and the chickou are above the kumo at that previous period of the candle bar in question which in this current case ( with setting of 7,22 and 44 ) be the candle 22 periods before.

This would the correct indication for the chickou alert and therefore this needs to be modified.You may please look into this and do the necessary modifications at your convenience.

try this. There were a lot of changes and since I don't have an old mt4 to compare with I really can't say that it's working properly. If you have the old ex4 that would be the best way to compare.
