Agreed. I made first order on 959.50, second will be 870.00 if we get there, and if we get through that tough MA & Fibo support I'll be looking for even lower supports. Don't think that anything under 740 is possible (even 740 is very optimistic, but it is logic if we rely on technical analysis). There will be a reversal sooner or later, which could be a once in a lifetime investment opportunity, because inflation doesn't dissolve in the air, the liquidity pumped in the markets are going to hit the commodity prices some day, it is inevitable. Gold will aim for at least $1200 in the near future.

agreed....i dont trade gold daily than to invest in it for long term..the time is here to do so but do we know the right direction..gold is expensive to buy now than sell base on top and bottom skills but that is not the right way of trading than to follow the trend.....i watch close on it now then take the better chance of it...it's been a long time i check on gold than today but i love the current PA on gold and the weekly set up.

I trade gold futures contracts. Now its DEC09 contract which started a week ago.As for me I expect good move this week, I will try to short from Friday max volumes and from Max volumes of previous week, as these prices are highest in this contract. Levels from Friday are aruond 959 and weekly levels 963-966. S.O.T. index reports from Dollar Index also confirmend that largest quantity of trades was made last week by Biggest Commersants, for me it is one more sognal for a good movement this week. Well, i think prices are going to fall all the way to 940 around, where it will find enough support to target 1000 again. I will wait to see if 940 is broken or not. If prices bounces off 940, it is a clear buy. Astrologically, later part of june is a good buy, after june 15 though. Till then, market will just consolidate. I just pray it doesn't break 940. A complete, non-stop fall will only happen on august 14 "The Black Friday". Lets hope so.

Epilogue, since prices bounced off 940 on your "black Friday", does that mean you see a "clear buy" signal now?

What do you think about gold in september? If USA will have problems with debts and the new wave of crysis will begin? Can we expect the growth or the actual prices are just the next buble?

What's the probability in the case - if there will be downward trend on sp500, the gold will be falling too? I'm asking because there's a dependence now - when us stocks are going up - gold is going up. When goin down - gold is also going down. Weird, dont you think?

Stocks up, dollar down, commodities up. And although Gold is also influenced by inflation fears etc it is still a commodity.

So if stocks drop, dollar will rise and gold will drop. Unless stocks drop because of some serious fears, then gold might become a safehaven again.

--> the fundamentals are difficult to trade

In my opinion, a year ago gold outperformed because there where inflation-fears. Right now these are temporarily gone, so Gold is traded as all other commodities and thus directly correlated to the price of the dollar, which in turn is correlated to the stock market.

Also: as I said above, trading fundamentals is complicated. Add to that the fact that I'm certainly not a specialist, and you can ignore everything I say

why dont you place buy stop 947 and sell stop 943 ? it is very good to catch the break out !
