3 Trades, 1 Win, 1 Loss, 1 Breakeven
Trade 1 — Short, −1R: Bearish EMA alignment and NOVA confirmation were present, but price reversed and hit the predefined stop-loss.
Trade 2 — Short, BE: The trade moved in my favor, but momentum faded before reaching the target and price returned to the entry level.
Trade 3 — Long, +2R: After a sweep of sell-side liquidity, price reclaimed the EMA structure. The EMAs aligned bullishly, NOVA confirmed the momentum, and the 2R target was reached.

Final result: 1 win, 1 loss, 1 breakeven — net +1R.

1 Trade, 1 Loss
Trade 1 — Short, −1R: Price rejected the EMA structure and NOVA confirmed bearish momentum, so I entered short with a fixed 1:2 risk-to-reward ratio. The trade moved approximately +1.5R in my favor but failed to reach the target, then reversed and hit the predefined stop-loss.
In hindsight, I should have moved the stop-loss to breakeven once the trade reached +1.5R.
Final result: −1R.

The setup was valid, but the trade management could have been better. A useful lesson for the next setup.

The problem with moving the stoploss to break even after reaching 1R is sometimes it needs a bit of room to move before it would go down again. In this case going breakeven was the right choice but sometimes you will see the price hits the stoploss then goes in your favour.

A quick question… let’s say your last trade was a winner and it was a buy trade… the ema’s are also indicating a uptrend. You won the first trade and closed. The question I have is for the next buy trade do you guys always wait for the signal line to go below the zero line first and wait for it to cross up to take a valid trade?…. What about if the signal line stays above the zero line?.. would you still take the next buy trade?.. or must it first go below the zero line first and cross back up for the entry to be valid?

Both are still valid... however signal line being above 0 level for a long time as more of a chance to snap back below 0 and pullback.

So for me, I prefer when price has pulled back before taking the next signal.

It all depends on whether price as moved away from a strong POI and volume supports price moving to the next logical POI.

You'll find more success with waiting for 0 level cross but also be sure to check the next timeframe up and see if its also above 0 level.

Hi Bro. Can I ask about Nova Pro… I see on a screenshot there’s additional purple arrow and blue circle signals on the chart. Can I ask if they are used for buys and sells and do they repaint?

No its just for market structure to spot highs and lows.
