Morning London.

Gold is always bullish and always bearish. Last night, we saw bullish control the market with purpose. The purpose is about OB. CPI just only reason for manipulation. It's already printed. What the YELLOW or RED TWEET is just the thing already been printed. That's why 95% of my trading is based on TA. 5% for FA. Trade what you see. IMHO

There are no science, but i try it again...
Just simple because is a 4h level, and as long i don't see 4028.100 breaked in 1h TF, i don't like to say it, but price should not go down and even so is not so linear...
Is 4h that should give a 4h bullish movement at 4022.425 or a rejection candle, so 2h to finish, closing below most likely 1h will test the level if not 4H...
I will repeat, as soon 1h close below 4028.100 that 4h level become weak, till then is strong...
Be hit, away from the charts, the reason why 2nd entry later...
Next time they go to 4022 again, as long 1h don't close, i am in again...

EDIT: Prefence not make that bearish candle supply, 1h have to follow thru now....

XAUUSD H1 — pre-London setup
Gold's been in a clean lower-high/lower-low structure since the 4194 top on the 2nd, and price is currently trading below both the 50 and 100-period MAs (~4050-4060), which are themselves rolling over — that's your dominant bearish bias into London.
The bounce off the 3991 low stalled hard right into that MA cluster near 4062 and got sold back down, which is a textbook "failed retest" — sellers defending the moving averages rather than price reclaiming them. RSI(14) is sitting neutral at ~43.5, not oversold, so there's room for another leg down without needing a reset first.
One thing worth flagging for anyone trading the open: PPI m/m drops at 05:31 EST, right around the London/NY overlap window forming. That's a legitimate volatility catalyst — if PPI runs hot, watch for a spike toward the 4050s to sweep liquidity before any continuation lower; if it's soft, the 4020 low from earlier could give way quickly since there's no real support built up on the way down.
Levels I'd watch: 4062 (MA resistance/failed retest), 4020 (recent swing low), 3991 (range low).

And that's it, no more fighting, most likely 4032 will hold price for now, we really can go keep going lower...
1h not follow thru, is enough to me...
Waiting for minimum price movement engage on the 4022 most likely test....

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, 4022 still can hold, is just no more high probabilities, only that, and is no more a level to trade from for me. Patience is a virtude, even if we loose a train...

Gold(XAUUSD) Today's outlook & trade setup

Yesterday we saw a spike on gold, which came after the CPI data release. Price has retested the 4104 level and has retraced again, since the overall trend was weak this was no surprise. Trendline rejecting the price up-move again, adds up to our conviction for the bearish side. Currently on smaller timeframe price is consolidating in a sideways direction.
Immediate support is at 4020 and 4040 is acting as a resistance.

summary: Selling trades should be preferred, wait for the clean breakout below support for fresh entries.

1h is pointing 4012, 3999 right now, particulary 4012 will be an interesting level.
My advice 4h not closing below 4022.425 this level is still valid, weak beacause 1h diverging but still a level to watch for in that tf.
And you know, london window, consolidation zone till Ny plus the potential breakout 90% of the time...
4H breaking 4022.425 start making 3982 very real, till then, hold your horses...

This I agree with. There is a chart I saw somewhere with exactly 4180 - 4190 as top and if it holds then price will sink. But if 4180 does not hold then price heads to 4400 area. These are fat targets so I just take with a pinch of salt. What I don't fancy is price undoing the entire CPI up move of yesterday.

Go to charts and see what CPI has been done at Gold, when is positive and when is negative, very manipulative...
Said today already...
In average if print bullish, following days we have the probabilities going higher, my problem is really the trend not shift yet and sometimes we only can expect and take risks now and then...

This 1h breakout is expected play 4014.745, not doing this is bulls nearby... Potential reach 4004.875, where after that a 4h closing below here also can expect a test of one of this levels, will depend wich 4h close below and where, target the most recent close price... Never forgeting 4022.425 at 4H too.

this! The move up seemed more than a flash in the pan granted we didn’t close above 4100 but there is some big manipulation in my opinion. Either the spike up or the move back down to yesterday’s levels pre CPI. Also feel shorting now maybe too late too…

Yeah, somehow my heart rejects shorts for now. Even though price behaviour points lower but I will not be shorting. The best I can do is to wait and buy much lower for scalps. Like Deal has always taught here, even if price is sinking to 3500 there will always be opportunities to buy in-between at the right place.

Its a big fat no trade today, Daily downtrend too though low to short, and these demands have been hammered if your trading this mess today place your bets lmao
