It's not just gold doing weird stuff right now.

DXY made a nasty attempt to break out of a trend line, but failed.
NAS is at a critical support level.
Dow is stuck trying to hold the line at a trend line.

It's a veil market everywhere today.

Curious—can you link the World Gold Council analysis that identifies $3,860 as a technical trigger? My understanding is the WGC publishes market research and demand data rather than specific technical support/resistance levels, so I'd be interested to read the original source?

US 10Y Treasury yields are holding above 4.5% and still pushing higher. So why is smart money going long on gold?
I'm expecting a significant pullback ahead of tomorrow's FOMC minutes. After the release, price could rebound quickly toward 4,200 before the market decides its next direction.
