Gold with No Drama

Gold did not retest 4220 but rejected 4207-14 zone multiple times and down. 4170 is support ATM if break then 4150-55 and if hold then 4230-40 but may be tomorrow not today bcz of low volume.
Anyway sell was triggered at 4210 and closed at 4170

for me who scalps using 0.15 lot on gold, i trade support and resistance, if i buy at supoort and i go down just 70 usd, i immediately open a sell with same lot sixe, till i see where the next real move is, if it will break support and the support was weak and the market will go down then i open another sell with twice the lot size, till the third postion puts the trade of day in profit, and vice versa

this way no matter what happens to the first buy and sell positions I have opened, its the third move that will be placed once the real direction comes into play, and with this I can monitor the market move through the day, until i really see where the real direction takes me and that is when the third position comes into play

so far this week with strategy i have been in profit all week long, i do not wait till i go down heavily like before, its 70 usd against my first trade, that then i put this strategy into play

its so amazing once i have 2 positions open with a difference between them 70 usd, and see how both first 2 trades react through the day, and then through the day I will see where the real direction is, and boom the third psotion will be opened till my trade is in profit, usually it takes hours till the third trade is initiated, but its amazing how to watch the roller coaster of the first 2 trades during the day, until I see where the real direction is, the third trade is what I call the sniper trade as its twice the lot size, and its innitaited fast and usually closed fast

i will never ever from now on let my wallet go down more than 70 usd like before, i open an opposite second trade, and then wait patiently till i initiate the third sniper trade

Well, that was a somewhat boring session.
Got some nice little scalps in, rangey-range land.
This week will no doubt have in store a big move at some point, thinking Wednesday or Friday, crystal ball is hazy...

Then that's not a sniper trade mate, by definition at least. Also I assume you do this on a live account? Since this form is trading is widely restricted on props

I do think this is a medium risk low reward kinda situation since you could just entirely wait for the ACTUAL direction ( your 3rd trade ) and risk more on that? But then again, to each their own and I'm sorry if I sound discouraging or condescending. Just trying to understand how this strat is better than solely taking the 3rd trade all together.

Volumes were way too low today. Let’s see if APAC can shake it up first target 4230 second 4250

The market is slow, but it's providing opportunities to enter or exit, hehehe, patience is what we need...
